Dear Friend,

I have two works and am co-curator of his exhibit at Concordia University,
"Chicago Artists Interpret Shakespeare: As They Like It."

The opening reception is November 10th, 4 to 6 PM, and I hope you
can come see the show and say hello to friends of the Bard.

It features work that touches on Shakespeare's plays, poems, characters,
etc. by 22 talented Chicago Artists.

Hope to see you there.

Response to CAC re Membership Renewal

With permission from Molly Schiff, I reproduce here her response to the CAC's membership renewal and a comment she added.

"You must be kidding!!! You are so far removed from the original CAC:
No Newsletter with helpful info in many areas. Just referrals to other sources
that really are not interested in being helpful.
Programs chiefly at extra costs to attend.
The Artists' on line gallery loss resulting in added personal expense to restore it
and then (2010) cancellation / turn over to another source but with a CAC unfullfilled
promise to further promote the same artists.
So many of us are beyond your focus on "emerging artists" .
Grow up to the reality of professional oldsters.
Regretfully ..... Molly J. Schiff"

Molly, may I post this on Artists' Breakfast Group blog? I totally agree.
ABSOLUTELY....POSITIVELY !!!!

MOREOVER, I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT IN MY OPINION THE SALARIED STAFF
KEEP IT ALIVE IN ORDER TO CONTINUE BEING SALARIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA!!! HA!!!

HAVE FUN.... MOLLY

Collagists, Potential Goodies!

The widow of the late Robert Putnam, a beloved member of both the Breakfast Group and Sculpture 12 Group, phoned Sandra Holubow to say she would like to give away some 1992 Encyclopedias. She said, correctly, that often artists like to use these for collage.
