The Glenwood Art Fair is coming up, August 22. and 23.
Please let me know ASAP,rsvp via my email, if you can participate. It is a great opportunity to present and sell your work.Cost for a tent will be offset for an exchange to teach art activities to kids.
For this fair , I would invite pariticipating artists for a special meeting Aug 11 at 5pm at Insight Arts 1505 W. Morse before the monthly art meeting, we are going to decide the structure and input during the fair.

Call for Entries: "Down to There: Women and Their Relationship to Hair," a juried exhibition of Art by Women, Sponsored by the Koehnline Museum of Art and the Women's and Gender Studies Program at Oakton Community College. 1600 E. Golf Rd., Des Plaines, IL, 847.635-2633.
Dates: Tuesday, Oct. 27 - Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. Reception, Tuesday, Oct. 27, 5 - 8 p.m.
Eligibility: Artists who identify as women are invited to submit one work, must be 18 years or older, no students.
Fee: no entry fee, submit one work related to the theme.
Deadline: Sept. 1, 2009 Submit on CD only on a JPeg of at least 300 dpi, labeled with name, title of work, date and medium. CD should contain Microsoft Word documents with biography, max. 300 words, narrative form, no resumes, brief statement about the work. No size limitation. Works will be insured while at the Museum.
Delivery of accepted work: must arrive at the Museum by 5 p.m. Mon. Oct. 19
Pickup: Mon. Nov. 9, 10 - 5 p.m. or by appointment. Contact Nathan Harpaz, 847.635-2633.
Label back of piece: Name and phone number; tile of work; year completed; medium; insurance value.
