Climate Change in the North Woods May 30-August 16
A group of artists, scientists and educators recently came together in Wisconsin to consider ways that art could increase public understanding about climate change. The result is a thought-provoking environmental art exhibition, featuring everything from paintings, quilts, puzzles and music, which explores the roots of climate change, encouraging everyone to take action to preserve the environment. Each piece of artwork on display reflects a unique perspective on the effects of climate change in Wisconsin’s North Woods.

Special announcement

Larry Connell wanted to let everyone know;

"I have decided to sell most of Wanda's art work. After much thought and deliberation over the past two years, I am moving in this direction.
We are having another estate sale in Woodstock this coming weekend, Friday and Saturday, 14th and 15th of May. The address is: 11620 Country Club Road, Woostock. Take the Kennedy to the Northwest Tollway; exit at the Woodstock exit (Rte 47 North).. There are two tolls. Go north of Rte 47 to Woodstock (about 12 miles). In Woodstock, look for the Walgreens on the right, turn right on Country Club Road for about .4 miles. On the left is a tan cedar shakes house. That's it. There will be a fair amount of people there looking for sale items, so look for the crowd.
Call me with questions, 773 262 0645. Tell your friends and other for whom I may not have their e-mail address. See you there. Thanks."
