GEORGE C. CLARK will have two figure paintings from his White Room series in the Art In My Back Yard exhibition "Studios Revealed." The show will open with an artists' reception on Friday, May 2, 2008, from 6 to 8:30pm, runs through May 30. Gallery hours: Fri & Sat 2-6pm Sundays from 12 to 4pm. 3955 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago. "Studios Revealed" was curated by Jackie Kazarian and features the work of 22 professional artists who live or work in the West Walker and Independence Park neighborhoods. Dierdre Fox's cool globe, Tapping Geothermal Energy, is off to the US Botanic Gardens in DC as part of Cool Globes on the Road, and will be on exhibit there May-Oct. 2008.
Kim Laurel will be showing exhibiting her mixed media print collage and jewelry and GEORGE C. CLARK will be showing his miniature rustic twig furniture and other miniature wood sculptures in the Fine Craft Fair held on Sunday, May 4, in the field house at Independence Park on the south side of the 3900 block of Irving Park Road one block east of Pulaski in Chicago. The sale will be open from 12:30 to 4:30pm and will also feature ceramics, jewelry, fiberarts and other fine crafts, all hand made by local artists.

Judith Roth and Sandra Holubow's work will be included in the American Jewish Artists' Club 80th Annual Exhibit "INSIGHTS into a CULTURE" at the Renaissance Court Gallery of the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph Street, March 28 through May 4, 2008.

Didier Nolet is having a weekend-long Studio Open House celebrating his new series of ink wash drawings inspired by the 17th Century French artist, Claude Lorrain.
Come see some never before exhibited paintings, pastels, and watercolors. Many of these artworks will be offered that week at an exceptionally low studio price.
Also on display and available for purchase will be authentic Native American Jewelry pieces from Santa Fe, New Mexico.
