Stapleton's work consists of fantastic mixed media collage mixed media collages of hybrid bird/human characters. Stapleton holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute and is assistant curator at the Illinois State Museum. His other artistic forays revolve around performance. http://www.dougstapleton.blogspot.com/
Karras is a 3rd generation Chicago native whose work consists of stylized human/animal/plant hybrids. Alchemy, metamorphosis and mythology richly inform much of Karras's work. Karras is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute.
