Karena Karras, Didier Nolet, Eleanor Spiess Ferris, Sandra Perlow, Terry Dixon, Brian Bonebreak and David Gista will be painting at the 2nd annual Paint-A-Thon

The painting will be done from 1-3pm and the
live auction will be held from 4-6pm.
Leslie Hindman Auctioneers of Chicago will be doing the live auction of the paintings after the artists are done starting at 4pm

Shelley Gilchrist has work in "On the Edge: A Juried Show of New Work in Encaustic" at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. The exhibit is part of the Second National Encaustic Conference and runs June 6-July 3.

Eric Holubow, son of Sandra Holubow, is in the Evanston Art Center Biennial 2008 Exhibit Evanston Art Center

The reception is Sunday, June 1, 1-4 PM. The biennial show includes 44 other artists exhibiting from June 1 through July 6.

Jim MacRoberts' sculpture will be exhibited at Morpho Gallery in the Sculptural Passion(S) show curated by Peter N. Gray.
Show runs from May 30th to June 15th and there will be two receptions; one on Friday May 30th and one on Saturday June 14th. Both receptions are from 6:00 to 10:00pm.

GEORGE C. CLARK will have two figure paintings from his White Room series in the Art In My Back Yard exhibition "Studios Revealed."
The show runs through May 30.

"Studios Revealed" was curated by Jackie Kazarian and features the work of 22 professional artists who live or work in the West Walker and Independence Park neighborhoods. Dierdre Fox's cool globe, Tapping Geothermal Energy, is off to the US Botanic Gardens in DC as part of Cool Globes on the Road, and will be on exhibit there May-Oct. 2008.
