Catherine Cajandig's monotype print is in Peoples Choice Award Show,
Elmhurst Artists' Guild gallery, at the Elmhurst Art Museum. May 31 to July 11.

A rotating show of Emily's paintings are on view at local coffee shop, The Perfect Cup. The Perfect Cup is located at 4700 N. Damen Ave., on the corner of Damen and Leland Avenues.

Lotus Keep Gallery, in Bucktown: Emily's painting "Burger King on Milwaukee" is on display in their gallery at 1017 N. Western Ave. The gallery is a collective of sorts; run by artist and organizer Quang Hong with his brother. Check it out!

Shelley Gilchrist has work in "On the Edge: A Juried Show of New Work in Encaustic" at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. The exhibit is part of the Second National Encaustic Conference and runs June 6-July 3.

Shelley Gilchrist's work "Cherry Creek" was chosen by Joanne Mattera for the highest award, the Director's Prize, at the juried show "On the Edge" at the National Encaustic Conference at Montserrat College in Beverly, MA. The show runs until July 3rd.


Jim MacRoberts' sculpture will be exhibited at Morpho Gallery in the Sculptural Passion(S) show curated by Peter N. Gray. Show runs from May 30th to June 15th and there will be two receptions; one on Friday May 30th and one on Saturday June 14th. Both receptions are from 6:00 to 10:00pm.

"Studios Revealed" was curated by Jackie Kazarian and features the work of 22 professional artists who live or work in the West Walker and Independence Park neighborhoods. Dierdre Fox's cool globe, Tapping Geothermal Energy, is off to the US Botanic Gardens in DC as part of Cool Globes on the Road, and will be on exhibit there May-Oct. 2008.
