Sandra Holubow has work included in the
American Jewish Artists Club exhibit, "Let There Be Light," at
the Mendelson Gallery of Temple Sholom, 3480 N. Lake Shore Drive.
Sunday, November 2, is the opening reception, 12 noon until 1:45 PM.
The exhibit continues through January 7, 2009.

The Art of Democracy at LUMA
The exhibition, timed to coincide with the 2008 Presidential election displays works by 60 printmakers whose art is concerned with democracy, social activism and political change.
The artists continue the tradition of using poster and print media as a vehicle for social advocacy and propaganda.The exhibition is organized by the New York Society of Etchers and includes 25 Chicago-based artists.Hours of LUMA: Monday-closedTuesday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (free admission) (otherwise its suggested admission!!!!)

"Memories of a past long gone........"Argentinean artist Beatriz Ledesma presents an exploration of the rituals and designs of the Diaguitas Indians
runs through November 7th, 2008
Beatriz also has paintings and prints at the Writer's Workspace opening later this month

Peter N. Gray will be one of the featured artists at the Science in Art Exhibition at the University of Chicago Center for Integrative Science.
The exhibition dates are October 10 through December 13, 2008.

"Inspiration in Andersonville:Exploring Cultural Heritage and Artistic Innovation,"
