Artists' news; retiring fingers

Bonnie Peterson was interviewed this summer for the WTTW program Arts Across Illinois. The program will be aired on channel 11 this Friday, November 20 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, November 22 at 4:30 PM. Remember to set your TiVo's and VCRs.

Gray, Sandra Holubow, Catherine Cajandig, Julia Oehmke and Judith Roth are showing work in the Senior Artists' Network Later Impressions 2009 exhibit at the Chicago Cultural Center Renaissance Court, 77 E. Randolph St. (Floating Reds, by Myrna Knepler, top). An honorable mention went to Sandra for her collage piece Urban Connections (below).

Our retiring blogmaster par excellence, Vicky Szilagyi, has a painting in the national encaustic exhibit Cross-Pollination opening at Woman Made Gallery this weekend, juried by Laurel Delaney. Opening is Friday, Nov. 20, 6-9 PM.

Shelley Gilchrist had work in the Embedded Light encaustic exhibit at Grosse Pointe Art Center, Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The exhibit concluded this week. (The Narrows, below)
