Members' news

George C. Clark has an ink drawing in the exhibition Au Naturel:  The Nude in the 21st Century at the Art Center Gallery of Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon.  The show runs February 25 - April 8.



Amanda Ross-Ho, daughter of member Ruyell Ho, has a solo show at the Pomona Museum of Art in Los Angeles, through April 11th.  She also has an upcoming show, opening April 1st, at Mitchell, Innes and Nash Gallery in New York City.

Opening March 5 at the Irish-American Heritage Center Gallery (ergo, this should be a wingding of an opening):  A Touch of the Poet.  Forty artists interpret the work of Irish poets, including Kim Laurel, Fletcher Hayes, Tom Robinson and James Mesple.  Reception is 6-9PM.  The exhibit runs through April 3.



Address:  4626 N. Knox, Chicago.  Gallery hours:  Sat. and Sun. 1 - 4PM.  (Fundraiser Sat. March 13, noon-6PM, $15.)

Summer will arrive some day, but March 1 is the deadline for applications to three outdoor art fairs:  Oswego (IL) Art Fair, August 21-22; Lakeview East Festival of the Arts, September 11-12; West End Arts Festival in LaGrange,  September 18-19.  The "common application" for these fairs can be found at  www.emevents.com, and images are accepted by email.  Contact Erin Melloy (emelloy@emevents.com) for questions.
