Daffodils, robins, and members' news

The Artists' Breakfast Group Spring Dinner will be held on April 18th, which is just around the corner - a great reward for filing your taxes on time.  Check your in-box for details.

In May, Jill Specks will present her ceramics work in Selected of the Selected, an invitational exhibit at the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles.  Jurors are senior curators from the MCALA, LACMA, as well an art critic from the LA Times.

Kathy Weaver's show terra nano opens Friday, April 9th.  Fabric paintings, food and experimental percussion music!  Gordon Center for Integrative Science, University of Chicago, 929 East 57th St.  6-8PM.  Street parking is available.

Calling all artists!  The 2nd Annual Chicago Art Parade takes place in the West Loop on May 1st, starting at 2 PM. Organizers invite you to join in and "show your most radical freaked-out idea:  a float, a group of costumed friends, a performance . . . amaze Chicago with your take on a parade."  Line-up so far includes marching bands, fashionistas, dancers, fluxus events, a bar on wheels, and creations by other artists.  See chicagoartparade.com, and send your ideas to info@chicagoartparade.com.
