Summer, 90 degrees (continued)

Catherine Cajandig, Rita Dianni-Kaleel, Sandra Holubow, Jim MacRoberts, James Mesple, Julia Oehmke, Robert Putnam, Sandy Reibscheid, Pauline Silberman, and Michelle Stone will exhibit in the Chicago Society of Artists show at The Anderson Art Center, 121 66th St. in Kenosha, WI.  Opening reception Sunday August 29, 1:30-4; the exhibit runs through October 24.  Info: (262) 653-0481.

Shelley Gilchrist and Ken Gold will participate in The Art Center'Encaustic: Hot Art, an exhibit of work by 25 FusedChicago artists.  1957 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park.  The show runs September 3 - October 1.  Opening reception Sat. September 11, 6-9PM.

Mary Jo Bowers and Linda Eisenberg-Sorkin are showing work  in a four-person show at SASI (a not-for-profit organization for elderly care) in their exhibit space Celebration: A Gallery of Art for Older Adults.
1123 Emerson St., Evanston, open weekdays 10-4.  The show is up through September.

Sandra Holubow's son Eric is a featured artist in the Aug/Sept issue of American Photo, and at Chicago Art Source Gallery (1871 N. Clybourn).  Look for him at his booth (#164) at the Bucktown Arts Fest, August 28 and 29, 11AM-6PM.  He will also lead the graduate photography program at the IIT School of Design this fall.

And . . . more photography:  David Weinberg Gallery is hosting a solo exhibit by David Burdeny and a group show of work by Yale MFA 2010 graduates.  Opening reception: Sept. 10, 5-9PM.  300 W. Superior.
