Breaking NEWS...
Private Artist Studios now available at CPC!!!
THIS COULD BE YOUR STUDIO!
Yep, the CPC currently has three private artist studios available...
(March 1 and April 1)
It's rare that CPC has a vacancy for one of its coveted private studios, so you might want to jump on this opportunity to become one of CPC's 6 Resident Artists. The upstairs studio is small and cozy, and the basement studios are more spacious, but each comes with flat storage, shelving, glass slab, and includes full access to the CPC workshop facilities. Perks include exhibition opportunities and collaborations on suite protfolios and other projects. Studios are private, keyed, and accessible 24/7. Six-month or one-year renewable lease, $320/month. If interested, Email info@chicagoprintmakers.com to set up an interview and tour.
These studios are ideal for printmakers, of course, but the basement studios are also ideal for painters, sculptors, or artists working in other media.
Check out all of our various activities on
FACEBOOK, where we've posted lots of photos of the shop and those who make it buzz.
Or read our BLOG, where you might be the next person mentioned if you join us!
Come by and meet our AWESOME CPC interns... or just visit our website!
The CPC is very conveniently located in Lincoln Square, at 4642 N. Western Avenue, just across the street from the CTA Brown Line el stop, on the west side of the street, between Wilson and Leland. We're in the midst of excellent shopping, restaurants, and even a movie theater. Check us out on the web: www.chicagoprintmakers.com
We even have a new BIKE RACK for artists who prefer their two-wheeled transportation.

Fiber & Mixed Media
These works depict the artist’s interest in the interface of humans and machines, of progress and the future, of science and art. The imagery of robots is used to question how we approach that future. Will we be destructors or problem solvers?
