The Senior Artists Network presents a half-day seminar on topics of interest to senior artists. This year we will feature two accomplished SAN artists: Judith Roth and Gwen Jones. To register or for more information about the events, contact Pat O'Malley at (312) 744-4551.
Program for the day: 9:30 – 10:00 A.M. Check-in, Coffee
10:00 – 10:45: Artist Judith Roth will discuss her current work. Judith has taught figure drawing and the figure is often the subject of her drawings and paintings. She was instrumental in starting the Ravenswood Art Walk and continues to be an active participant. Her work is in corporate and private collections and she has exhibited throughout the Midwest.
10:45 – 11:15 a.m. Break Q & A and coffee and refreshments, and networking with fellow SAN artists.
11:15 a.m. - Noon: Artist Gwen Jones will talk about and show some of her beautiful fabric art. Techniques in fabric and textile selection will be covered.

ABG Wednesday 6/20 only at 4161 N. Damen Chicago

One day only, next Wednesday, June 20, Artists' Breakfast Group, will meet at Phantom Gallery Pop-Up, 4161 North Damen, Chicago, at the usual time, 10am to 12noon. NOTE: this is pot-luck, bring your own and perhaps a bit to share.

Ruyell Ho's daughter Amanda Ross-Ho has an up coming SOLO show at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Opening. Reception: June 22nd, 2012.

Ruyell is going to the opening on June 21st.

Peter and Gwen Jones in St. Joe in August!

Peter & Gwen Jones will be having an opening for their exhibit at the Box Factory for the Arts.  August 10th 5-7 pm in St. Joseph, Michigan.  You may want to stay at the Silver Beach Hotel or The Boulevard Inn and Bistro, but reservations are needed ahead as this is a tourist town with a great Beach.
