2012 Later Impressions Exhibit

 

The 2012 Later Impressions Exhibit will be at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St., Chicago.

The Opening Reception and Award Ceremony will be on Sunday, October 21, and the exhibit runs from October 15 through November 28. The following members of the AGB have been juried into the show:

The Senior Artists Network presents a half-day seminar on topics of interest to senior artists. This year we will feature two accomplished SAN artists: Judith Roth and Gwen Jones. To register or for more information about the events, contact Pat O'Malley at (312) 744-4551.
Program for the day: 9:30 – 10:00 A.M. Check-in, Coffee
10:00 – 10:45: Artist Judith Roth will discuss her current work. Judith has taught figure drawing and the figure is often the subject of her drawings and paintings. She was instrumental in starting the Ravenswood Art Walk and continues to be an active participant. Her work is in corporate and private collections and she has exhibited throughout the Midwest.
10:45 – 11:15 a.m. Break Q & A and coffee and refreshments, and networking with fellow SAN artists.
11:15 a.m. - Noon: Artist Gwen Jones will talk about and show some of her beautiful fabric art. Techniques in fabric and textile selection will be covered.

The Senior Artists Network (SAN) is having its Spring Members' Show at the Old Town Triangle Art Center, 1763 N. North Park, Chicago. The exhibit runs through Wednesday, May 30. For further info: 312--337-1938
