Quebec and Chicago artists Collaborate:  

Sandie Bacon & Judith Roth of Chicago and Quebec artist L'OR.

The exhibit titled "RAPPROCHEMENT"  is in keeping with the French meaning, 

the coming together of people(s).

....Sandie and I did studies of Chris for a show called "Sum of the Parts: Woman's Perspective of the Male Figure". Quebec artist L'OR has created drawings of Chris from a slightly more intimate perspective: they are now a couple! 
 

All the drawings are now on view at August House from July 8, Weds thru Sat.  12 - 5 PM.

There will be a special 'French Only Spoken Night' Saturday, July 13, 7-9 PM.
