The Women's and Gender Studies Program at Oakton Community
College is once again having its public reception for the annual International
Women's Exhibit. This year's theme is "Gendering Desire: Liberation, Power, and Pleasure." The Opening is Thursday, October 2, 5 -
8 PM, Koehnline Museum, 1600 East Golf Rd., Des Plaines, IL.
The Exhibit features work of 68 local, national, and
international artists who visually explore ways in which gender affects
experiences of passion and pleasure. Not to be missed, the following artists
represent the Artists Breakfast Group:
