Sandra Holubow Exhibiting

Sandra Holubow has her work, "A Tapestry of Hanukkah Memories," featured in the Summer (current) issue of the bulletin of the Chicago Jewish Historical Society, an organization dedicated to the discovery, preservation, and dissemination of information about the Jewish experience in the Chicago area. Her work is part of the North Suburban Synagogue Beth El Exhibit which opens December 6, at 6:45 PM. The exhibit was curated by Molly J. Schiff. Dreidl, Dreidl, Hanukkah!

"The Spirit of Hanukkah Through the Eyes of Chicagoland Artists," was installed November 16, at the Rissman Family Kol Ami Museum, North Suburban Synagogue Beth El, 1175 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park, IL. The Exhibit continues through February 19, 2013, and offers educational, religious, and art events.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 1 PM, a lecture by Loyola University art history professor Maria Hand will explore the techniques and styles of works on exhibit.

On Thursday, December 6, at 6:45 PM, an Artist Reception will offer holiday treats, wine, and a discussion led by Jane Shapiro, Associate Director of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. She will focus on the meaning of Hanukkah rituals and celebration. For more info and to RSVP: 847-432-8903, ex. 234. The Exhibit was curated by Molly J. Schiff.
