Members' News

Sari Maxfield is exhibiting at The Charnel House with Victoria Szilagyi, Duffy O'Connor and Megan Sterling in An Unwholesome Attachment, a show of paintings, drawings and prints.   The opening is Wed., Sept. 29, 6-9PM, and the work is on view Saturdays and Sundays, noon-4PM, through Oct. 17.

George C. Clark, who created the official poster art for the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL, will be painting on site at the Museum next Sunday, Sept. 19th, from 10am until 3:30pm.  An exhibit of his railroad prints can be seen in the Museum's ArtCar on weekends through the end of October. Unframed prints and Clark's poster are on sale at the Museum Store. Find a map and driving directions at www.irm.org

Catherine Cajandig, Sandra Holubow, Gwen Jones, and Julia Oehmke are exhibiting in the juried SAN (Senior Artists Network) Exhibit, Later Impressions, 2010, at the Renaissance Gallery, Chicago Cultural Center, Randolph and Michigan Ave. The Reception and Award Ceremony is on Sunday, September 19, from Noon - 2 PM. The show runs through October 14.

Th!nkArt is presenting an exhibit of Richard Hunt's sculptures and works on paper, A Force of Nature, Thursday Oct. 7 - Friday December 10.  Work by Adam Clement will be shown in the lower level gallery.  Hours are 11AM - 5PM, Mon.-Fri.
