George C. Clark at Starline Gallery Harvard!

"Backyards," George C. Clark, artist

Backyards, a watercolor by GEORGE C. CLARK, will be on exhibit next Friday, August 24, at the 4th Fridays Art Event at Starline Gallery, 400 W. Front Street, Harvard, Illinois. The one-night event, which takes place from 6 to 9pm, features a juried art exhibition, a one-person show by a previous exhibition's prizewinner, a juried photography show, live music, and open studios hosted by many of the artists who have space in the Starline building. The $5 admission fee includes 2 glasses of wine or other beverage and scrumptious appetizers. These events usually attract from 500 to 700 art lovers.

The Starline building is an old brick farm implement factory that has been renovated into an art complex. Harvard is located about 70 miles northwest of Chicago, a little beyond Woodstock. It is accessible by Metra commuter train, and the Metra station is only a couple of blocks from the Starline Gallery.
