The Cornelia Arts Building allows two premium guest artists to show and sell artwork during the 2013 March 22 and May 10 Open Studio Events.
- FINE ART artists can apply for one of two Juried locations at either or both of ourFriday Night Open Studio Events on March 22 and May 1.
- Building's Open studio events regularly receive from 350 - 750 visitors. The spring open houses wlll feature open studios of many or the 40+ resident artists in the building, and as live music on our front porch, as well as a food truck outside.
- We offer two premium hall-way spaces where artists can present work and sell directly to the public.
SPACES AVAILABLE:
- The Front Lobby Space, includes a 12' wall as you come in, and two walls forming an L - 6'8" wide and 8' wide, all in the newly refurbished front lobby. This space is $165 for the night. Artists handle and keep 100% of all their sales.
- The Mid Lobby Space includes a 14' wall in a center location on the ground floor., plus a 7' wall facing it. Space is $125 for the night. Artists handle and keep 100% of all their sales.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING:
- Both shows are heavily promoted through on-line sources and through the building's and resident artist's extensive lists.
- The Building is a paid advertising lister in both the Print and On-Line versions of theChicago Gallery News .
- Selected Artists names will be listed on most on-line listings, including the ArtSlant on-line Slideshow listing.
- Selected Artists can receive Postcards and Posters which advertise show dates to help promote; postcards have space to add your own information for your patrons.
TO APPLY
- Artists are juried based on the quality of their work, and the match to the building's other resident artists in pricing and professionalism.

- Please include a link from your web site of the art work you'd like to show, (with price ranges) and put "GUEST ARTIST JURY" in Subject line of message.
