A two person exhibition curated by Prof. Joyce Owens Anderson features
Chicago area artists: Alan Emerson Hicks and Kim Laurel.
Laurel's mixed media works on paper are from a continuing deconstructed kites series:
The Maquette Studies. Alan Emerson Hicks sculptures are constructed from recycled
found materials. This unique pairing of artists contrasts scale, materials, formalism
and spontaneous construction.
